EMBRUN AUTO TECH HAS BUILT ITS REPUTATION ON 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR INDUSTRY.
Steve Morris owner of Embrun Auto Tech and is in his 29th year of automobile service in Prescott Russell. Morris opened his first service station in Sarsfield in the early 1980’s, establishing himself as a trusted and reliable mechanic.
Steve Morris moved to his current location at 5-767, Notre-Dame St. in early 1990. Here he would continue to grow Auto Tech into one of Prescott Russell’s premiere service stations as well as becoming a participant in numerous race circuits across North America.
Steve Morris is the owner and team manager of the KART DEPOT PREDATORS, participating since 2000 in various events across North America. The KART DEPOT PREDATORS began competing in the Ron Fellows Karting series in which they participated from 2000- 2004, racing in events from Florida to Las Vegas.
The KART DEPOT PREDATORS in 2005-2006 moved up to the Honda Michelin Challenge Series, racing in events at Mosport, Montreal, Toronto, Trois-Rivieres, and Mont-Tremblant. The KART DEPOT PREDATORS team competed in a successful 2005 season with both drivers, Tyler Givogue of Embrun and Philip Major of Ottawa winning rookie of the year. The PREDATOR’S 2006 season ended with driver Tyler Givogue finishing third in the season’s final race and ending the year in third spot overall with 331 points.
Beginning in 2007 The KART DEPOT PREDATORS team moved to the Rolex Grand AM Series, competing under the team name Predators Autosports in the super stock class of the KONI Challenge Series. Predators Autosports raced the KONI Challenge Series from 2007- 2009, with Drivers Robert Boyer and Matt Pritiko competing in the Predators Autosports Cobalt SS.
Steve Morris is currently taking this year off and plans to return to racing in the near future, but says he is enjoying the off time to focus on his wife and children.
